The Republic of South Africa is a very popular country for travel and vacation located at the southern tip of Africa with a 2,798 kilometres (1,739 mi) coastline on the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. In its north there are Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, and in the east there are Mozambique and Swaziland, while Lesotho is an independent country surrounded by South Africa.

South Africa is a paradise for anyone interested in natural history and wildlife. A wide range of animal species (some are considered potentially dangerous) may be encountered in parks, farms, private reserves and even on the roads.

1. The Kruger National Park is exceptionally well managed and a favorite tourist destination in South Africa .
2. Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in the heart of the Kalahari desert with wide open spaces and hordes of games including the majestic ‘Gemsbok’. This is the first park in Africa to cross political borders.
3. Also there are large numbers of smaller parks, like the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park, Addo Elephant National Park, Pilanesberg National Park or the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.

South Africa has a generally temperate climate. South Africa is very known for its diversity in cultures, languages, and religious beliefs. There are elevan official languages which are recognised in the constitution of South Africa while English is the most commonly spoken language in official and commercial public life; however, it is only the 5th most-spoken home language. It is ethnically diverse country , with the largest Caucasian, Indian, and racially mixed communities. Allmost 80% of the South African population is Native, this represents a variety of ethnic groups and different Bantu languages, nine of which have official status. About a quarter of the population is unemployed and lives on less than US$ 1.25 a day.

Famous Destination and Cities : Gauteng (Pretoria), Western Cape (Cape Town), Pietersburg, Mpumalanga (Nelspruit), North West (Rustenburg), KwaZulu-Natal (Durban), Free State (Bloemfontein), Northern Cape (Kimberley, Eastern Cape (Bhisho).

If you want to travel in southern Africa then South Africa is a good place to start. While you can fly into any country in southern Africa, most flights will route through South Africa anyway. South Africa is also a good place to get used to traveling in the region with Namibia.. Of course South Africa is not only a jumping off point, it is itself a superb destination which is a beautiful desitnation and also rich in culture, fauna & flora and history.

Top things which can be done in Cameroon

Well Cameroon is a wonderful place situated in West Africa. This is amazing place is bordered by Nigeria, Chad, Central African Republic, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Chad, the Congo Republic and Gabon. I am listing some great things you can do or should do in Cameroon, West Africa –

Dja Faunal Reserve

You can visit dja faunal reserve; it’s a very beautiful place and also has been listed in the UNESCO’s world heritages list. It is a protected rain forest and its miscellaneous floras and faunas makes this place a must see in Cameroon.

Beaches

Well there are a hell lot of beaches in Cameroon to see but among then I would like to point out only two which are the best. The first one is limbe and the second one is kiribi. Well basically limbe is a small town which is known for its astonishing beaches. In this town you can relax or swim or anything you would like to do there, it depends upon your mood basically. There are some locations which are black sand beaches in limbe. Due to frequent visits by the tourists, it has become a tourist spot and has developed a lot. There are shops which sells traditional stuff by which you can know more about the town or the country as a whole, not only this, there are many bars so that you don’t feel bored and the town kiribi is same as limbe to an extent.

Bamenda

There are many things you can do or see here. First of all you can start with taking a tour of the famous ring road which contains a tour through the hilly terrain of Bamenda. Visiting Menchum River Waterfalls and mount oku is also an excellent idea to do.

Well botswanna safari is one of the few unspoilt wildernesses left in the world; Botswana is a wonderful place to go on Safari. Safaris build up one of the largest parts of Botswana’s visitor trade, and they can arrogantly show off that they have a number of of the most excellent quality safari experiences in Africa! The Okavango Delta is the biggest inland delta on the planet. Instead of flowing into the sea, the Okavango River flows into the Kalahari Desert – an amazing phenomenon to observe! One of the remotest safari camps present in the Okavango Delta is the camp of Duba Plains. The camp is positioned on an island bounded by flood plains that are flooded at different times of year. This area is home to lions, buffalo, and elephants to name but a few of the local inhabitants! On the other hand, for those wanting a few home comforts, the Xigera Camp is to be found in the centre of the Okavango Delta with extravagance tents. Each room is raised off the land, with brilliant views of the floodplains. The Moremi Game Reserve to be found within the Okavango Delta is a paradise for photographic safaris. The Mombo Camp is at the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve. The Mombo Camp has comfortable tents raised high up off the land to allow wildlife to roam freely all the way through the camp, generating for some very close experiences! The Linyanti Game Reserve is situated in northern Botswana on the bounds of the Chobe National Park. The Linyanti Game Reserve is residence to a wide diversity of species, but is best known for its very huge elephant population. The King’s Pool Camp overlooks the hippo overflowing lagoons, and is almost certainly the most lavish camp in Botswana.
