City of Canton is a small, charming city, a must see place if you are visiting Texas. It’s a tourist oriented city where you can combine all the advantages of living in a big city with the tranquility of living in a small city. It has a population a little bit more than 5000, but during some events held in Canton city sometimes , temporally the number reach almost 300,000.

The biggest attraction of the city is for sure First Monday Trade Days. During these weekends the small city transform himself in a pretty crowded place. This event is the biggest flea market in the world. On a surface of almost 30 acres you can find all kind of bargains from pets to antique. Plenty of hotels can make you spend the night over, near the city and enjoy the market for more than one day.

If you are an American football fan you should definitely visit the famous NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame. For a small fee, here you will find the full American football history starting from 1920 when NFL was founded here in Canton city. A short 2-3 hours visit is a must .
