Australia is the smallest continent in territory but it is not like that it don’t gets visitors, in fact it is a center of attention due to its unique style and individuality. One thing that strikes me most about that continent is the way nature developed there. Australia is situated far away from the other continents and thus the life there took a bit dissimilar direction throughout its development. Also the type of weather is really miscellaneous in the different parts of the continent which also explains the enormous variety of the wild life. Every one of us knows about the kangaroos and the koalas and considers them ordinary animals. But they are one of many other animals and plants that are typical for Australia and actually cannot be found in other places of the world. Australia can make an impression not only with its wild life. There are also many beautiful places to go to.

One of these great and wonderful places is the Great Barrier Reef. It is a long and beautiful chain of reefs, near the shoreline of Queensland and it is in fact enormous – 2000km long. The place is included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO and is one of the top visited places among scuba divers, explorers and people who just want to have a high regard for the underwater life, as well as the elegant and colorful corals.

A lot visited alternative also in Queensland is the Gold Coast. The place is paradise for tourists – it has affectionate sands, crystal clear waters and joyful sun. What is additional, it has a kind of international air with many restaurants and places to spend some thrilling night hours.

There is a bunch of magnetisms just present in the centre of Australia. Uluru is a single monolith, situated in the middle of the desert and is considered sanctified by the local Anangu indigenous people. But on the rock there are areas from where you can watch the end of the day and sunrise and it is a sight you cannot forget. In fact, Uluru is the second largest single rock in the world. And do you know? It is the largest one in Australia.
